My dying love

As you lay there on the ground,
I knew my love would be nowhere found,
watching the blood run down your chest,
I tried to save you at my best,
knowing that you will lose your breath,
you kept smiling hiding your ache.
I thrashed about to save your life,
helplessly moving around without any sign.
You wished to breath your last in my arms,
your soul to get trapped in my charm.
Angels on the way to take you far,
along with them in their magical cart.
Silently you closed your eyes,
speaking no word, mutely saying bye.
The angels tenderly pulled out your soul,
leaving your body behind to me close.
Feebly I stood watching on my door,
they take my beloved away from my core.
